De Ubud Villas & Spa

I love the Villa, the staff, and the owner herself. They all treated us like family. The food was delicious. They allow you to have breakfast at your convenience. The Owner treated us like her children though we behaved like one. We will be back soon. We love you. Highly recommended. Will be back soon. - The Naughty Boys. Don't forget us.

De Ubud was amazing. Everything you want and need. The staff were polite and friendly. The food was delicious (especially the complete Indonesian meal). We particularly enjoyed the Indonesian breakfasts, but we always had a choice. The grounds are peaceful and calming. Our villa was gorgeous with many extras. I would highly recommend. Two things to note: you need to take their free shuttle to get into town centre. It isn’t really walkable. Secondly, I booked this location because of the proximity to the river, which we couldn’t see from our place anyway. But it was very close and subsequently the mosquitos for a while in the evening were a bit insane.

The staff were excellent. When you arrive you are immediately added to a WhatsApp group, which you use to communicate with the staff (rather than a phone number). The team were so quick to respond, nothing was too much work and they were always great at suggestions restaurants or things to do. The food at their restaurant “China Moon” was so so good too. Genuinely felt like I was leaving a family when we went home.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom spa villa. It was beautiful and comfortable. The staff were exceptional and nothing was a big deal. China moon restaurant was wonderful. They tailored their food for the kids which was great. The free shuttle was a fantastic service which we used very often. It’s a peaceful villa 10 minutes from the hustle bustle of ubud.
